Assists in managing a department that has institutional oversight responsibilities. Responsible for the development, coordination and administration of the department.
Professional/Personal Reference, Professional License/Certification
Review all submitted Purchase Orders prior to processing for MC department.
Supervise the Accounting Staff and Analysts of the department.
Coordinates with various TTUHSC departments including Utilization Management, Contracts, and Accounts Payable to ensure prompt and accurate payment of vendor invoices.
Establishes procedures and assigns work as needed.
Deal with vendor problems and payments as needed.
Produces various reports for the Sr Managing Director of Finance and Administration.
Work is performed under general supervision with intellectual freedom, autonomy to nurture innovative ideas, bold explorations, and a pioneering spirit.

Minimum Hire Rate
Compensation is commensurate upon the qualifications of the individual selected
Bachelor's in Accounting
5 years of accounting experience
Supervisory abilities to coordinate work flow of the department, handle all aspects of vendor problems, and make independent judgments for the department as needed. Knowledge of modern accounting and budgetary practices.
Use and knowledge of personal computer and accounting software programs. Use and knowledge of a computer based physician and hospital programs.
Microsoft office products(Excel, Word, Access database).
Ability to work with a variety of people.
Ability to listen, research, and come to conclusion based on results of research
