How will a Marketing Coordinator be successful in this role?

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Coordinate development and production of marketing collateral and other media to promote identified CRC programs, services and events, in collaboration with CRC’s graphic design specialist.
Collaborate with Human Resource department to develop effective marketing strategies to attract and retain top talent.
In coordination with the PR Specialist and external marketing firm, provide oversight for CRC’s digital media efforts to include social media engagement. Research audience preferences and current trends, create engaging text, image and video content, and design posts to sustain existing followers and consistently attract more. Track ROI.
Prepare marketing reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing data in collaboration with CRC’s external marketing firm. Must be able to present data in a manner relatable to non-marketing professionals.
Research new and innovative ways of marketing to achieve agency’s goals.
Oversee inventory of all CRC marketing collateral and other materials.
As a vital component to supporting CRC’s efforts to establish itself as a top-of-mind expert regarding mental health and wellness, the Marketing Coordinator will acquire Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) instructor certification, will co-manage the Mental Health First Aid Training Team, teach MHFA classes, coordinate Mental Health First Aid classes at CRC and other community locations, manage MHFA data entry and track inventory of course supplies.
Coordinate Speakers Bureau inquiries, including fielding requests for presentations from the community and tracking Speakers Bureau data.
Conducts agency business and engages both internal and external customers in a professional, collaborative manner that reinforces person centered practices.

Other Functions:
Performs other such duties as assigned within the scope of the position and program description, as well as those reflective of their experience, education and ability.
WORK EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION / LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS

Any combination of education and experience that would provide the required skill and knowledge for successful performance would be qualifying. Typical qualification would be equivalent to:

Education / Experience:
BA/BS degree from accredited College or University in Marketing, Public Relations or Communications.
3+ years’ experience directly related to marketing, including a minimum of 2 years’ experience in digital marketing and a minimum of 1 years’ experience with project management – including writing proposals and project summaries.

Necessary Skills:
Superior written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrates social media expertise, preferably in a human services environment.
Able to integrate marketing campaigns over multiple channels.
Demonstrates knowledge of brand management and PR best-practices.
Demonstrates proficiency with website management and a technical understanding/background in design and graphics.
Proficient with Adobe Suite and WordPress and Constant Contact.
Google AdWords experience.
Proficient with Constant Contact or similar email marketing product, and knowledgeable of email best practices-copy, design, list segmentation, testing, measurement, and optimization.
Strong understanding of analytics (Omniture or Google Analytics),
Proficiency in Spanish is preferred
