The Role:
The Digital Engagement Manager will play an integral role in supporting the execution and measurement of high-quality campaigns that drive customer engagement on the Roku streaming platform. Campaigns will reach users in email, on Roku’s owned advertising network, on, on the Roku mobile app, on the Roku device, and in other emerging digital channels and provide measurable contribution to business KPIs.

Reporting to the Director Engagement Strategy and Analytics, this role will own and execute engagement-driving campaigns that harness powerful customer data to build highly relevant, targeted, personalized campaigns. This role is highly collaborative and relies on strong organization and communication skills.

Primary Responsibilities:
The Digital Engagement Manager will partner closely with many key functions to deliver and track high-performing campaigns. Key activities include:

  • Work with Director of Engagement to develop Campaign Brief based on understanding of campaign objectives for target audiences
  • Work with Campaign Strategist to translate Campaign Brief to campaign asset plan
  • Work with Creative, Copywriters, and Video editors to produce campaign assets that deliver on campaign objectives and Roku brand guidelines
  • Route assets for approvals from key stakeholders, including partners, executives, legal
  • Work with Data Science and Analytics to develop measurement and testing approach and track performance for all campaigns and tests
  • Develop targeting for campaigns using internal segmentation tool using in-depth knowledge of target definitions
  • Work with Account Management and Ad Ops teams to build and flight campaigns, including building of campaign target audiences; track delivery of campaigns against exposure goals
  • Work with Ad Ops teams to collect performance reports and synthesize for exec presentation using Excel, Tableau, and Looker
  • Develop insights about user click paths using Google Analytics
Experience and Qualifications:
  • 5+ years’ solid experience in consumer-oriented digital marketing
  • 5+ experience in project management of creative teams and production of creative assets
  • 5+ years of campaign analysis or business analysis experience using Excel and tracking user click paths in Google Analytics or similar web tracking suite to drive insights about customer behavior
  • Understanding of methodologies for AB testing and measurement of incremental impact of marketing campaigns on business KPIs
  • Ideal candidate will have experience working within streaming media or similar entertainment brands, in roles responsible for marketing content and services to customers. Experience in programming promotion and entertainment verticals a strong plus
  • Strong affinity for entertainment and passion for turning millions of viewers on to new movies and shows
