I&I Sling has a unique and exciting opportunity for an Inside Product Advisor (IPA)Yale and for our Lorton, VA location. The IPA is focused on increasing sales and market share with existing and new accounts by performing advanced sales and account management activities. You’ll use your Value-added selling experience of as you employ analysis, research, prospecting and selling skills to identify new product and market opportunities for our premium, branded products and services. You’ll also serve as liaison between customers and internal cross-functional teams; and advise, quote, negotiate and close sales opportunities.

Education, Skills and Experience
- Work Experience: Two years sales experience within the industrial market
- Education: BS or BA in related field or equivalent experience
- Cross-functional skills: Ability to work well cross-functionally with the accounting department and other departments; provides excellent internal and external customer service
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal skills; Strong interpersonal skills; Ability to deal with sensitive and confidential information; Advanced presentation skills; Strong project management skills
- Problem Solving Skills: Good problem-solving skills with the ability to provide easily understood solutions
- Computer Skills: Advanced in Microsoft Office Skills, prior experience utilizing a CRM; advanced Excel skills (i.e. pivot tables, VLOOKUP)
- Organization Skills: Excellent organizational, ability to multi-tasking and shift priorities as needed; Advanced category management skill
- Travel: Occasional Travel may be required for onsite visits and training (less than 5%).
Work is performed in a normal office environment; you may also perform some aspects of your work in a manufacturing and warehouse environment with exposure to moving equipment.
