Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Bartender to join our team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and creating a positive and enjoyable experience for our guests. Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and take their drink orders promptly
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and customer preferences
- Provide recommendations on drink selections based on customer preferences
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including organizing supplies and cleaning glasses, utensils, and bar equipment
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, creating a welcoming atmosphere
- Monitor customer behavior and alcohol consumption to prevent overindulgence or underage drinking
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to coordinate food orders for customers seated at the bar
- Stay up-to-date with current beverage trends and attend training sessions as required
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working as a Bartender in a restaurant or bar setting
- Strong knowledge of various drink recipes and mixology techniques
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with customers in a friendly manner
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating bills
- Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems for order processing
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food handling regulations is preferred but not required
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
