United Dairy Farmers is searching for full-time workers for 1st (6a-3p) and 2nd (3p-11p) shift production at our Ice Cream production facility located in Norwood, OH. The ideal candidate would be a self-starter with good attention to detail, basic math skills, logical thinker and have mechanical ability.
- This position does require Steel Toe Boots and Safety Glasses.
- Work environment can involve cooled and chilled areas
- Heavy lifting and physical movements are also required.
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have dependable transportation
Applicants would be expected to:
- Operate various equipment following all Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Willingness to learn and ability to understand the principles of manufacturing Ice Cream.
- Learn, understand and promote Safety and Quality in out manufacturing environment.
- Learn and understand set-up and usage of all equipment.
- Learn and understand equipment tear down, cleaning and sanitation procedures including Cleaning-in-Place (CIP) and Clean-Out-of-Place (COP).
- Clear and professional communication with entire team.
- Drive the production process to ensure that the products produced meet customer specification, quality and food safety.
- Ensure production meets targets outputs through effective control of the manufacturing process.
- Ensure health and safety requirements are fully met and a positive safety culture is maintained.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred, food manufacturing experience a plus.
