This is a Regular position located at the Marina on Joint Base Langley-Eustis VA - Langley location. Position is guaranteed 20 hours per week. This position may be subject to nights, weekends and on-call work.

DUTIES:
Performs and/or assists in the daily operations and maintenance of the Langley Marina which includes a snack bar operation, wet and dry boat storage, equipment rentals, building, and grounds. Provides information to patrons on the all programs and services available at Langley Marina. Performs routine checks of the facility and do minor maintenance and/or grounds keeping to the Marina including boat and equipment storage areas, parking areas, pump-out station, fueling station, and building. Assists in renting recreational equipment and insures all equipment is in clean and safe working order at check-out and check-in. Assists with inventory control along with the ordering of products and equipment. Performs duties associated with the running of the snack bar to include taking lunch orders, operating cash register, stocking of goods, and completing end of day cash reports. Assists in maintaining cleanliness of the indoor and outdoor dining areas and kitchen, as needed. Must have the ability to resolve customer issues concerning boat storage and snack bar. Work will be performed both inside and outside in various weather conditions. Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Knowledge of recreational activities, rules, and procedures along with the use, operations, and maintenance of various recreational equipment and watercraft. Ability to safeguard and handle cash. Must be able to follow oral and/or written instructions involving duties and responsibilities. A certain degree of manual skill is required in using necessary hand tools and equipment along with operating simple power tools. Position will require physical exertion. Must be able to stand for long periods of time, bend stoop and lift items weighing up to 40 lbs. Must be able to satisfactorily complete pre-employment physical. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) and complete/obtain Initial Food Handler Training Course.
