Primary Purpose

The HR Applications team supports the company and colleagues with technical solutions and expertise that drives transformation resulting in efficiency security and the accomplishment of strategic initiatives. The team is composed of problem solvers who possess a high degree of curiosity and varying perspectives and thrive to collaborate and transform.

The incumbent will be part of a dynamic team who participates and facilitates the technical analysis process definition and design phases for projects. Partnering with key business users and supporting systems specifically the Ultimate HR Software application the incumbent will design and develop technical requirements and designs architecture documents and technical implementation plans. They deliver measurable results to maximize efficiencies across the organization. Common activities could include the planning designing and creation of standard and ad-hoc reports configuration changes QA testing for system enhancements and upgrades SSIS file transmission integrations interface mappings between the HR and reporting systems and technical project management.

Primary Responsibilities

Operational Support of key applications including off hours
Participation in SDLC and Agile driven project/enhancement request.
Perform and assist in all cycles of project work from business requirements gathering through unit integration/system user acceptance testing into implementation of changes
Document functional system designs and technical specifications
Serves as mentor and team lead to junior associates

Good testing practices including planning and execution.
Good experience in project methodology (i.e Agile Waterfall etc.)
Working knowledge on configuration and implementation of HRIS software solutions. Preferably knowledge of Ultimate Software HRIS Time and Attendance Recruiting and Onboarding modules.
Working knowledge of Time Punch clock configuration.

Technical Skills:
Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services(SSIS) Required Min 3 years
Ultimate HRIS Software Configuration/Support Required Min 3 years
SQL Developer Required Min 3 years
Cognos or Report Writing Skills Required Min 3 years
C++ or C-Sharp kills Required Min 2 years
Education/Experience
Bachelor’s degree required
Minimum of three years general IT systems analysis / applications development
