About the Role:

Candidate will augment Audit team and will perform analysis and reporting functions.

Assist with the completion of work plan activities, analyzes relevant data and information, and institutes and supports business solutions.

Complete assigned tasks within the project scope and budget, while meeting deliverable requirements.

Conduct relevant research, distill data, and create reports.

Actively engage consulting tools and methodologies to meet project objectives and complete program management activities.

Supports quality assurance practices and the completion and accuracy of system documentation.
The Ideal Candidate has demonstrated experience with the following:

Must have familiarity with DoD Financials/Accounting principles.

Strong familiarity implementing audits in accordance with Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards (GAGAS)

Comfortable performing compliance assessments (financial statements, financial information, and internal controls)
-
Provide analysis of trends and recommendations for areas of organizational performance improvement optimization (accounting system design, financial statement preparation, budget development and accounting advisory services.

Experience performing audits

Confident decision-making skills
Education: AA degree preferred
Experience: Familiarity with DoD and DLA financial management policies and procedures
Security: Secret
Location: Remote, preference to the DC metro area
