Position Summary:
Level One – Under supervision perform moderate plumbing and general facilities tasks such as removing sinks, toilets, repairing doors, replacing light bulbs, painting, and cleaning as necessary etc.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
· Operate forklift.
· Handle hazardous materials/waste.
· Perform service and repair maintenance.
· Interact and communicate with production on status and completion of jobs.
Required Skills:
· Knowledgeable of basic hand tools (wrenches, etc.), basic handheld power tools (saws, drills, etc.), and bench mounted power tools (grinders, sanders)
· Read/write English.
· Forklift certification a plus
· Basic Mechanical/maintenance skills
Experience & Education
· High school/GED preferred but not required; or 2-4 years of experience; Preferred manufacturing environment experience.
