The Virtual Bank’s VP of Acquisition will develop and manage digital marketing strategies that drive consumer and business client acquisition and further enhance the Bank’s brand in the marketplace. The ideal candidate will possess an entrepreneurial spirit and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Develop and execute on a multi-channel direct acquisition strategy to profitably grow consumer and business deposits in the Virtual Bank; focus on acquiring primary checking account clients. Responsible for managing the Bank’s acquisition marketing budget to fully optimize cross-channel acquisition efforts. Fully implement integrated marketing campaigns to span online, mobile, social, paid and organic search, and email marketing channels. End-to-end management of search engine optimization (SEO), pay-per-click (PPC), targeting/retargeting and social media advertising programs. Responsibilities include preparing marketing plans; working with internal team to develop keywords, product offers/incentives, ad copy and landing pages; execution and monitoring of program performance; continuous tracking and optimization of program results.
Recommend and help implement continuous improvements to the user experience and decision scorecard to optimize the consumer and business online application process and improve account opening conversion rates.
Manage staff member(s) specialized day to day management of digital marketing vendors, including ad trafficking, content communications, trackable URL management, trafficking vendor insertion orders and invoices, and identifying opportunities for optimization Serve as the internal resource for various digital marketing trends and developments; utilize this knowledge to implement strategies and tactics that fuel acquisition and retention efforts. Work in close partnership with internal Marketing & Design teams to develop brand and product campaigns across all key channels. Assist with building followership and aligning advertising efforts with bank sponsored-content across key social media channels. Strong understanding of the client’s digital banking experience, from prospect marketing through the application process and first 60-90 days after the account has opened. Responsibilities include knowledge of our product offerings, as well as implementation of landing page optimization and digital account application/onboarding best practices.
Work closely with Analytics and Data teams on ROI analysis of all digital marketing campaigns and develop strategic recommendations on how to best optimize account opening budgets.
Represent the Radius Bank brand externally in the marketplace by serving as a thought leader available for speaking and writing engagements Be flexible for overtime and scheduling as needs arise
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, business or related field preferred 10+ years of B2C digital marketing experience; experience with a focus on acquisition at an advertising agency or financial services company a plus Experience in and understanding of both digital and traditional media channels Possess a strong knowledge of and passion for banking and technology Google Adwords & Analytics experience required, Certification a plus Strong interpersonal skills Solid written and oral communication skills Entrepreneurial spirit with excellent project management and analytical skills Detail-oriented while maintaining a broad perspective overall bank goals Ability to effectively interface with all levels of management and staff Excellent customer service skills
