We are seeking a Creative Communications Director to develop, manage, and execute communication strategies and create deliverables and assets for initiatives related to change management, learning and development, innovation, and culture transformation for our clients.
The person in this role should be a creative force who can work strategically with all levels of stakeholders inside large client companies to craft and execute (create) comprehensive written and visual narratives, build compelling marketing assets, and delight our clients in every interaction.
This person must be capable of creating final products in PowerPoint as that is the primary tool our clients use to deliver presentations, messages, and plans. The additional materials and assets you create will be used on a variety of internal client company platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Narrative Development: Create compelling written and visual content that effectively communicates the vision, goals, and benefits of talent and culture initiatives.
- Strategy Formulation: Develop and implement a robust communications strategy to support change initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and executive vision.
- Creative Direction: Lead the creative process from concept to completion, ensuring all content is innovative, engaging, and aligned with the client’s objectives.
- Content Creation: Produce high-quality written and visual content including PowerPoint presentations, articles, newsletters, social media posts, videos, and infographics.
- Visual Storytelling: Utilize strong visual storytelling abilities to create impactful and memorable content that resonates with diverse audiences.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with stakeholders, including executives, HR, and learning and development teams, to ensure consistent messaging and engagement.
- Campaign Management: Plan and execute marketing campaigns to promote learning programs, change initiatives and transformation strategies, leveraging various channels such as email, social media, and internal communications platforms.
- Brand Consistency: Ensure all communications and marketing materials are consistent with (if creating new branding) and/or adhere to our client’s brand guidelines and maintain a consistent tone and style.
- Innovation and Trends: Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate innovative ideas into design approaches, e.g., trying and testing new AI type tools to enhance the design and communications development process
Experience & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in internal communications, change management, marketing, and/or a similar role
- Experience working on communications for use inside large organizations (above 20K employees.)
- Experience creating communications specifically for talent management, learning & development, change management and/or culture transformation initiatives.
Skills:
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong visual storytelling and creative direction abilities.
- Must be an expert in PowerPoint.
- Proficiency in other content creation tools and software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc.).
- Experience with digital marketing and social media platforms.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and client stakeholders.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Innovative thinker with a passion for creativity and design.

Pay: $40.00 - $60.00 per hour
