We are seeking to add a full-time QuickBooks bookkeeper to our successful CPA firm. Our bookkeepers, working under the supervision of the manager: prepare monthly, quarterly, and annually compiled financial statements for numerous small business clients. Manage multiple clients concurrently, assist clients with accounting payroll and basic software issues, and establish and maintain positive relationships with clients by communicating clearly and professionally. Provide a high level of customer service and follow-through. Keep pace with client reporting to meet deadlines and goals on a weekly and monthly basis. Accurately maintain practice management reports. Handle sensitive and confidential business matters. Exhibit a thorough knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures. Perform or assist with other services and special projects as needed. Demonstrate good judgment in problem solving involving multiple levels of the organization, including admin, IT, payroll processing, tax return preparation, and consulting engagements. Work collaboratively with these and various other departments and staff. Adhere to the many company systems and procedures; identify inefficiencies and initiate conversations with management to improve those inefficiencies. Attend training sessions to keep up-to-date on a variety of topics. Understand, apply, share, and train new information. Research new bookkeeping techniques and technologies. Participate in establishing and achieving individual, department, and firm goals. Embrace the firm’s vision and values. A strong knowledge of QuickBooks Online is required. You must explain your knowledge level when applying to be considered for the position.
Working remotely may be an option, though training will take place in our Antioch office.
