The primary responsibility of the Merchandising Supervisor is to provide leadership and supervision of the Merchandising team. The Merchandising Supervisor should possess the skills to lead, motivate, guide and train the members of the Merchandising team. This position requires accomplished leadership toward achieving and exemplifying the standards and principals of company’s vision. The Merchandising Supervisor will work closely with the Merchandising Manager to ensure efficient and professional execution of merchandising standards in the market.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Represents company in a professional manner, and provides excellent customer service.
Ensure the accountability of merchandising team by conducting in market ride-withs.
Supervise the Merchandising team in accordance with all policy and procedures outlined in company handbooks and the Merchandising Manual
Effectively supervise the Merchandisers hours / overtime to comply with all state / federal laws.
Ensure Merchandisers effectively work and communicate with the sales team and specific store personnel to ensure account level service expectations are met and or exceeded.
Train, develop and uphold all merchandising established standards and expectations in compliance with the Merchandising manual.
Recruit and maintain a “Best in Class” staff that ensures established service expectations utilizing all resources available.
Must ensure that daily merchandising schedules are communicated to direct reports, plus ensure that each merchandiser’s daily account call list is adhered to at all times.
Communicate and resolve any customer complaints in conjunction with Sales team and/or Merchandising team in a timely manner to ensure account level service standards.
Management and Administrative duties to include PTO, performance appraisals and coaching.
Maintain safe driving record and comply with company driving point policy.
Attend all scheduled meetings and company functions as required.
Adhere to the Company dress code and be properly groomed.
Obey all Federal, State, and local laws.
Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Associates degree (A. A.) or equivalent form two-year College or technical school; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of educations and experience.
