What you will be doing...
TE Connectivity's Recruiting and Staffing Teams develop and implement TE's recruitment strategy to attract and retain talent. TE Connectivity is seeking a Contract Staffing Operations Specialist to support to the N. American Recruiting Hub. This position will be based out of our Middletown, PA campus. Reporting to the Staffing Operations Manager for Global Talent Acquisition, this position offers you the opportunity to be aligned to a global function of the organization. In this role, you will be responsible for interview scheduling and onboarding logistics and have regular interface with candidates, hiring managers, and HR professionals throughout the recruiting process. The ideal candidate is a quick learner, with an outgoing personality, high energy, ability to adapt to a changing environment, a strong process and organizational focus and a willingness to learn. What your background should look like....
Reporting and analytics:
Tracking and reporting metrics for Global Staffing recruiting efforts (i.e. ATS utilization, source, cost, time to fill, diversity, etc).
Maintain centralized document/resource retention for the North America Staffing Hub.
Contact with key vendors (i.e. third party search, background checks, advertising, etc) and Corporate Procurement to insure proper operational set up and contract administration.
Ensure timely processing of invoices and accurate accounting principles.
Candidate Care Program
Approaching all contact with candidates – from early talent through senior management level candidates– from the perspective of the candidate, to insure an exemplary experience with TE. This includes all candidate interaction/ correspondence, scheduling, reference checks, screening, marketing, travel arrangements, and pre-onboarding.
Providing strong customer focus throughout the process.
Partner with the HR Services team and respective HR Business Partners to ensure all new hire onboarding requirements are completed prior to start to include required pre-hire forms, pre-employment screening requirements, and assignment of Network ID’s.
Support overall recruiting team with special assignments/ projects to support the client needs for talent acquisition (including university relations, veteran recruitment, and career fairs).
Bachelors Degree required.
1 year of work experience as a Recruiter, HR/Recruiting Coordinator, HR/Recruiting Assistant, or junior HR Generalist required.
Proven HR/Recruiting administrative experience required.
Highly proficient computer skills (Office 365 & MS Office programs).
Experience using an Applicant Tracking System required.
Experience with SuccessFactors, SharePoint, and SAP-PR2/SAP-HRP preferred.
PHR, SHRM-CP preferred.
Exceptional oral and written communication skills – with focus on customer service.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a global and matrix environment.
Team work oriented, self-directed with a high level of initiative and strong work ethic.
Robust problem solving skills and ability to multitask.
