The mission of the Microsoft Services Advisory Services and Industry Solutions team is to help Microsoft become the platform of choice for enabling digital transformation for customers within our priority industries. The core goals of the team are to increase the win rate for industry-led digital solutions, increase revenue from industry scenarios, increase Microsoft’s share of wallet through transformational programs and industry solutions, increase usage of Microsoft’s cloud technologies, make the market for new Microsoft products through a digital and industry-specific lens, and to drive adoption of the Microsoft cloud.
We are recruiting a Program Manager focused on processes and tools to ensure that Digital Advisors and Industry Architects are fully embedded into our Services ecosystem of processes and tools. Upfront planning and ongoing resolution of issues are important elements of this role.
The Program Manager – Processes and Tools is responsible for ensuring that Digital Advisor offerings, project initiation, resource assignment, project delivery, and contracts are covered by the Microsoft Services tools and processes. This includes working across teams who own the tools and processes to ensure alignment with customer goals of ease of doing business with Services’ goals of efficient statement of work processing, contract execution, and delivery compliance.
5-7 years of professional experience in process modelling, business planning, operational design, and/or program management
Working knowledge of Digital Transformation
Project implementation leadership across multiple teams who do not all report to the same manager
Ability to summarize complex goals and issues to prioritize specific actions for yourself and others
Ability to simplify the complex through deep understanding of cross-team interconnected goals
Strong analytical skills to review metrics and be able to influence planning and forecasting
Demonstrated track record of effective communication with technical and business colleagues
