Pinnacle Environmental Management Support, a full-service environmental claims management firm in business for over 20 years servicing major oil and petroleum corporations is seeking a Scanning Clerk for our Greensboro, North Carolina offices.

Please note: this is a full-time position. Our office hours are Monday - Friday, 8-4:30pm. Pay is $10.00-$12.00 per hour, based on experience.

Candidate must pass a drug screen and background check.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Scanning Clerk is responsible to produce legible digital copies of documents for retention purposes and ensure accuracy of the scanned documents.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prep and organize documents to be scanned; remove any bindings, staples, clips, etc.
Scan, name, and electronically file documents effectively, ensuring that documents are legible and clean. Performs quality checks.
File all paper documents in correct order; binding, collating, stapling where appropriate.
Clean and perform basic maintenance on equipment; such as refill with paper and toner, keep machine free of staples, paper clips, etc.
Maintain a clean, organized and neat work space.
Manage workloads and timesheet, ensuring that time is billed to our clients appropriately and within established budgets.
Performs other duties and special projects, as assigned.
Familiar with electronic file management and Adobe.
Provide administrative assistance to claims department, including; data entry, filing, preparation of reports and spreadsheets, preparation of reimbursement applications, uploading of documents and file management.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

General experience of 6 months ~ 1 year desirable.
Experience operating a personal computer and/or document scanning equipment.
Ability to use Microsoft Office software and digital file storage/ management in the Microsoft Windows operating system.
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English proficiently.
Ability to follow detailed instructions.
Ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented verbally and in writing.
Can maintain an organized work system with attention to detail.
Physical demands may require to stand or sit for long periods of time, depending on the task.
Must be able to lift or move heavy objects, such as large heavy file boxes.
