Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in various healthcare settings, including hospitals, clinics, and long-term care facilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Monitor patient vital signs and assess their overall condition
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient information accurately and timely in electronic medical records (EMR) systems such as Athenahealth
- Perform medical procedures such as suturing wounds and assisting with minor surgeries
- Provide case management services to patients with complex medical needs
- Conduct occupational health assessments and physical examinations
- Provide basic life support in emergency situations
Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Skills:
- Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems, specifically Athenahealth
- Strong knowledge of hospital policies, procedures, and protocols
- Experience with medical documentation and coding practices
- Excellent case management skills to coordinate care for patients with complex needs
- Knowledge of occupational health standards and practices
- Ability to perform physical examinations and interpret diagnostic tests accurately
- Familiarity with working with people with developmental disabilities
