Job Summary
We are seeking a creative Art Teacher to inspire and educate students in the world of visual arts. This position involves developing engaging lesson plans, managing classroom dynamics, and mentoring students in their artistic endeavors. The Art Teacher will work closely with students of varying abilities, to enhance their artistic skills while promoting literacy through art.
Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that foster creativity.
- Teach various art techniques and mediums.
- Manage classroom and create a supportive environment conducive to learning.
- Collaborate with other educators to integrate art into broader educational objectives.
- Organize art to be displayed around the school.
- Maintain an organized classroom environment with appropriate supplies and resources for artistic projects.
Skills
- Strong classroom management skills to maintain an effective learning environment.
- Experience in lesson planning tailored to diverse learning needs.
