Maintains a high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality
Advocates for District Community Education Programs.
Schedules and provides tours of rentals during business hours and as appropriate or necessary.
Coordinates with HUSD school staff to determine availability of requested locations, dates, and times.
Schedules rentals, follows up with renters, vendors, schools and all others impacted by the facility rental.
Adheres to all District policies and procedures in terms of contracting and administering renter and vendor facility rental contracts and agreements.
Provides one-on-one coordination meetings with renters and vendors prior to rental activity.
Coordinate with District Grounds and Facility and Maintenance staff to ensure that facilities are in good condition and set up in accordance with the rental agreement.
Schedules and oversees part-time and temporary staff employed as a part of rental agreements.
Coordinates weekend logistics and communicates with all weekend staff and school staff or any other staff impacted by the rental.
Assists rental staff with set up/clean up as needed.
Maintains relationships with renters and community partners.
Coordinates all District sports camps and clinics, including setting up class sessions and payment for coaches.
Collaborates with Public Relations Coordinator and the Director of Community Education to promote the District’s rental program and opportunities.
Ability to be flexible with hours in order to meet the needs of renters during off-duty hours and/or when the Rentals Technician is not available.
Ensures that rental agreements are upheld by both the renter and the District and that all HUSD policies and procedures are consistently enforced.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
College Degree in management, parks and recreation, or facility management preferred.
High School Diploma required.
Three to five years of experience in similar position preferred.
Outstanding communication skills.
Ability to work effectively with District staff and community vendors and partners.
Demonstrated proficiency in computer software programs including all Microsoft applications.

Clarity of vision at various ranges up to 20 feet including observing an area that can be seen up and down or to the right or left while eyes are fixed on a given point.
