Job Description:
Fast paced environment, busy multi-physician ENT practice in Cedar Park, TX looking for an Experienced Medical Assistant. We are in search for an energetic, hard-working, responsible and reliable team player who can assist our Physician's to do what they do best. Responsibilities:
Rooming patients and obtaining vital signs.
Assisting physicians with in-office diagnostic and surgical procedures. Sterile technique required.
Cleaning exam rooms and cleaning/sterilizing instruments.
Must know how to use autoclave, sterilization process.
Documentation in EHR.
Communication with patients regarding lab results, medication issues, physician orders and post-operative medical issues.
Sending out patient prescriptions and lab orders as directed by physicians.
Communicating with staff to assist with patient care.
Other duties as assigned by management.
Must be willing to travel and help in our Austin location on occasion.
Job Requirements:
Three years of clinical experience in a physician’s office.
Be a team player with a positive attitude.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
