The National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES) is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing professional licensure for engineers and surveyors. NCEES staff members develop, administer, and score the examinations used for engineering and surveying licensure in the United States. ABOUT OUR POSITION
As the meeting coordinator, you’ll provide administrative support for NCEES meetings, including the annual meeting, interim meetings, committee meetings, and more. Duties include overseeing timely registration for all NCEES meetings, writing and sending meeting invitations, and creating reports for staff liaisons and vendors using Cvent Event Management system. Using excellent customer service skills, you will be the main point of contact for meeting attendees, answering questions via email, phone, and help desk ticketing system. A keen eye for details and an ability to meet deadlines is required to spot and correct registration issues, create and manage rooming lists, and reconcile meeting invoices. This position is not a contract or remote position.
Currently located in Clemson, SC, NCEES is relocating to Greenville, SC, in the spring of 2020. This position offers a competitive salary, based on experience. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
You'll need to have:
- An associate's degree and 2 years’ administrative experience or high school diploma and 5 years’ administrative experience
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Extensive knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel
- Experience with Cvent Event Management system is preferred
