Raytheon Company is looking for an Information Review and Release Analyst, to work a part-time flexible schedule between 24-36 hours on the KODIAK Program, located in the Herndon, VA area (can be full time if desired). This position will be supporting the Historical Program Support in working with State’s Foreign Relations of the United States (FRUS). The right candidate for this position must have a thorough understanding of reviewing and redacting documents both electronically and/or manually. The individual will be responsible to ensure the quality and accuracy of all documentations being reviewed is compliance and customer satisfaction. The candidate will review products for Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), Privacy Act (PA), and Executive Order Mandatory Declassification Review (EOMDR) programs and Executive Order (EO) 13526 directive. This position will also be using criteria established in EO 13526 (or as amended), FOIA and Privacy Act laws, and review standards of special searches and historical collection as well as internal declassification guidance as provided by the Sponsor.
Must have knowledge of Sponsor culture and requirements.
Must have an active TS/SCI security clearance with Full Scope Poly on day one of employment and must be crossover eligible.
Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as experience working in a team environment
Strong analytical skills and must pay close attention to detail
Substantive knowledge of general worldwide events
Knowledge of Foreign Relations, Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), Privacy Act (PA), and Executive Order Mandatory Declassification Review (EOMDR) programs and Executive Order (EO) 13526 directive
Strong work ethic
Ability to identify, recommend and implement process improvements
Strong organizational and time management skills
Strong proficiency in on-line tools such as Word, Excel, and Access and Sponsor’s electronic databases

Knowledge of other government agencies
Bachelor’s Degree plus six (6) years of experience, eight (8) years of experience can be substituted in lieu of a degree for a total of fourteen (14) years of experience
Must have 11+ full years of experience specific to the skills identified above
