Description:
VMD has an exciting opportunity for you to join as an Entry Level Scrum Master working in our Chantilly, VA office. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to:

Serve as a dedicated team member who has the primary responsibility to support their self-organizing, self-managing team successfully achieve daily iteration, release goals, and delivery objectives.
Implement and enforce Scrum principles and practices, facilitate continuous improvement (CI), and identify and remove team impediments.
Help protect the team from outside influences which could otherwise interfere with the team’s ability to deliver value in a short time-box (iteration).
Mentor empowered teams and serve as the leadership proxy whose role is to assist the team in its transition to new method while continuously facilitating a team dynamic intended to maximize performance and by continuously improving agile practices.
Support the Product Owner with documentation of User Stories and Acceptance criteria.
Act as key coordinator between customers and multiple project teams to ensure enterprise-wide integration of re-engineering efforts and application of best practice including e-business practices experience.

Qualifications:
Experience as a Scrum Master OR Business Analyst including eliminating impediments, facilitating and training on agile processes, and leading continuous improvement efforts within team.
Experience facilitating, preparing, and leading agile process events including agile planning, demo / sprint review, and collaborative design sessions; experience prioritizing tasks and mitigating road blocks.
Professional project experience using Agile development methodologies and processes including but not limited to:
Conducting or participating in daily stand-up meetings, planning, and review sessions.
Using agile estimation techniques.
Application Lifecycle Management (ALM).
Experience working with team(s) to meet established Sprint and Release goals.
Education Requirement: High School Diploma or GED
