Administrative Assistant

Job Description

The Administrative Assistant shall be responsible for providing administrative support services and program support through a variety of administrative functions.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Providing general office assistance, research, administrative and clerical support
  • Process Word documents, document preparation/management, and file maintenance as required
  • Provide calendar management support and attend designated meetings
  • Order, distribute, and maintain business architecture work spaces, office supplies, and equipment
  • Support active projects as designated by management
  • Facilitate logistical planning for meetings as appropriate
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in an administrative assistant role
  • Knowledge of basic office procedure
  • Advanced organizational skills, including the ability to plan work activities and stay on schedule
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written
  • Strong research, problem solving and analytical ability with an ability to resolve problems in a timely manner and gather and analyze information skillfully while maintaining confidentiality
  • Computer proficiency, including Word, Excel, Google, Quickbooks, Accounting and Internet Explorer
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities in a dynamic, fast paced working environment
  • Functional knowledge of basic office machines (i.e. photocopier, facsimile machine and scanner)
  • Occasional lifting, up to 15 lbs.

Education:

  • High school or equivalent
