Position
We are seeking an experienced bilingual English/Spanish medical historian for Medical Legal QMEs and AMEs. The position entails calling patients over the phone, conducting the initial history, typing up the history using our template, and editing for grammar/spelling before uploading to our system.
***This position requires attention to detail and excellent English spelling and grammar skills.
Essential Qualifications
- Experience performing Medical Legal Histories (QME/AME)
- Experience with Orthopaedic Surgery
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365
- Great customer service and communication skills
- Bilingual English/Spanish (Required)
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent computer skills, we are tech heavy
- Detail oriented
- Weekend availability (as needed)
Responsibilities include:
- Calling, Scheduling, and taking medical histories
- Editing the history for spelling and grammar
- Communicating with office staff about progress
- Ensure compliance with procedures
- Back up and support fellow team members
- Answer/Make phone calls
- Reply/Send email
- Additional administrative duties
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
