As an Executive Assistant at Milliken, you’ll support the Executive Vice President, Operations in a variety of tasks and projects. You are an extension of your leader, complementing their work style while upholding Milliken’s values and demonstrating the utmost professionalism. You’ll offer a level of service that goes above and beyond the basics. You’ll successfully manage multiple priorities. You will oversee all aspects of travel arrangements in this role, to include hotel and flight bookings, as well as ground transportation. Confidentiality, flexibility and exceptional time management will be key to keeping things running smoothly. This role may support other team members, as needed. Job duties may change at any time due to business need.

This position is located at the Roger Milliken Center (RMC) in Spartanburg, SC. Normal work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., but may occasionally require flexibility.

Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary administrative support person for the company’s EVP, Operations
Oversee all aspects of travel arrangements to include hotel and flight bookings and securing ground transportation
Prepare and submit expense reports on a timely basis
Manage a complex calendar and schedule of company executive
Work closely with the leadership team and other Executive Assistants to provide support to the organization
Answer inquiries independently, follow up with other departments to ensure that requests are carried out
Assist in “ad hoc” special projects
Create presentations using PowerPoint and Excel
Manage organizational announcements, as needed
Plan and coordinate team building events
