Lone Star is looking for a Tire Tech/ Mechanic
Pay depends on experience and work ethic. We are looking for someone self motivated, can work independently, and someone who takes pride in their work.
No Experience required! We will train someone willing to learn and work!
CDL a plus but not required / clean driving record required
Service/Road calls required
Rotating schedule between 7:30 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. Rotational on call at night and weekends (usually one weekend a month and 1 or 2 nights a week)
Random Drug Screening required for the DOT
Position would be required to change tires on cars, light trucks, and semi. Mechanical would be changing alternators, starters, coolant leaks, air leaks, brakes, etc. Possibly transmissions and clutches. Some Cleaning in the down times is also required. We also do towing so working into that is a possibility for advancement.
