Harborview Health Center West Altamonte is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse 7a -3p; 3p-11p; 11p-7a to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician. This role involves administering medications, performing routine assessments, and collaborating with the healthcare team to deliver quality care.
Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare provider
- Monitor and document patient vital signs and medical information
- Assist with patient assessments and care planning
- Provide wound care and other nursing interventions
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Experience:
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in family planning, medical imaging, infant care, nursing homes, medication administration, IV insertion, and home care
- Proficiency in administering injections and ventilating patients
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
