About the Enterprise Risk Group
Enterprise Risk Technology (ERT) is the technology partner to the Risk divisions of Credit Risk, Market Risk and Non-Financial Risk. This includes definition of the IT strategy and provision of solutions to allow Risk to manage all aspects of risk from the analysis of counterparty credit risk to the protection of the Bank's infrastructure and information.
RiskFinder is Deutsche Bank’s strategic analytics platform for enterprise risk analytics to serve the needs of market risk, credit risk and finance and treasury departments. A technology-oriented developer is needed to join the enterprise risk team, to assist with the implementation of RiskFinder platform improvements and regulatory requirements such as FRTB and Stress Testing. It covers across all asset classes. This role is for a dedicated developer with strong core application or system programming skills, and good exposure to broader programming & technology topics. The technology stack is complex, including SAS, C++, Java, Scala, Oracle PL/SQL, Lua, Python, and REST over XML/HTTPS.

What You’ll Do:
Work with end-users and analysts to analyze requirements, create use cases and refine designs
Develop, build and maintain efficient, reusable and reliable SAS code
Execute on delivery plan through agile planning increments
Effectively translate market risk manager requirements into technical solutions
Help to improve system architecture and development standards and principles
Skills You’ll Need:
Experience in designing and developing SAS programs using SAS Base SAS Macro, PROC SQL, SAS LASR Analytic Server and SAS Visual Analytics, PROC IMSTAT and HPRisk
Experience in SAS Enterprise Guide or SAS Studio, SAS Management Console, SAS DI Studio, SAS HPRisk, LSF Flow Manager
Experience in UNIX Shells (Bash or Ksh), Python, Lua or other scripting languages
Experience in the Banking industry, particularly in the field of financial risk management
Skills That Will Help You Excel:
Experience in general programming language such as C++ or Java
Experience in SQL and Oracle, data modelling
Experience in the Hadoop ecosystem (HDFS, YARN, Hive, Scala, Impala, Spark, Kafka)
Knowledge of REST API and JSON
Working knowledge of statistics and simulation
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering or a related field
