At Gilly Hicks you are free to be you, underneath it all. This youthful and inclusive intimates brand sits within the Hollister family, and is looking for a creative, smart, and strategic Brand Manager to quarterback total brand marketing strategy and bring the brand to life to our core customer. This role is the driver of planning, execution, and hindsight of seasonal campaign and product marketing tactics, all footing to short-term and long-term brand objectives. We’re interested in candidates who get the brand and understand Gen Z. This person is a strong strategist who can bring ideas to the table and ultimately rally a team around a common goal to get it accomplished.
What will you be doing?
Assist in the planning of seasonal marketing campaigns
Focus on omni-channel strategy execution for a seamless customer-facing campaign, with digital-first mindsets
Run weekly campaign check-ins for cross-functional team members, set-up and lead weekly meetings
Analyze marketing trends, consumer mindset, and competitive data for seasonal campaign preparation
Communicate changes to marketing calendars and messaging to cross-functional groups
Responsible for tracking and managing campaign budgets
Measure, analyze and report seasonal campaign metrics and identify opportunities for improvement
Build and maintain relationships with cross-functional and external partners
Work with merchants and stylists to ensure photoshoot product strategy aligns to campaign
Partner with creative teams to develop direction, shot lists, and creative requirements for channel support
Put the customer at the center of everything we do - Partner with Customer Insights team to shape research (brand health, target consumer, etc) and identify key insights and drive their integration into campaigns
Develop ideas for longer term strategies and growth that helps GH achieve its long range plan
What will you need to bring?
Bachelor’s degree required
5+ years of marketing experience with a brand or agency, emphasis on digital and/or brand strategy
A digital-first mindset, with experience in developing holistic campaigns across multiple marketing channels; social, influencer, media, etc.
Outstanding communication and presentation skills
Detail-oriented and organized
Ability to make quick decisions
Highly motivated and collaborative with a willingness to learn
Strategic, analytic and structured thinking ability
Deep knowledge of fashion retail customer demographics, preferably Gen Z
Strong work ethic with the ability to multitask and deal with accelerated deadlines and shifting deliverable
Must be a team player who is open to receiving and executing feedback
