Responsibilities
The Radiographer I - PD, under the general supervision of the Technical Supervisor and under the direction of the Radiologist, performs all functions necessary to produce quality diagnostic images. Responsible for operating complex radiographic equipment, both mobile and stationary, in various patient care settings for purposes of obtaining standard diagnostic radiographs. Inputs and retrieves data from the Hospital and Radiology Information System. Work various shifts within the department. Additionally, perform any and all job assignments that are requested be completed in an accurate and timely manner. Demonstrates leadership skills with the ability to delegate and follow-through with decisions, including planning, directing, implementing, coordinating and improving services. Perform appropriate lead duties. This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Community Hospital of San Bernardino. It is expected that the employee will demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values. Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS:Two (2) years experience in an acute care hospital, performing a variety of general diagnostic procedures utilizing ionizing radiation is preferred. Graduate of an approved school of Radiological Technology. Passing of the CT/ARRT examinations is required.

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATIONS AND PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS: American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) certification , California Radiological Technologists (CRT) certifications , Basic Life Support - AHA (BLS) certificate required. Mammography permit is preferred.
