- Practice OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standards and comply with all company safety policies and procedures
- Maintain professionalism at all times with co-workers, contractors and customers
- Assist team with overall daily operations, maintenance and repair of HVAC, and general maintenance requirements of building
- Respond, prioritize, complete, and follow-up on customer service requests per Company policy
- Perform the following building general maintenance tasks as required: minor carpentry, painting, drywall repair, ceiling tiles/grid repair/replacement, wallpaper repair, flooring/base repair, minor concrete repair, etc.
- Perform or assist with preventive maintenance of building equipment/systems as directed
- Perform or assist with installation replacement or repair of building equipment/systems as directed
- Perform water treatment testing, analyze results, and report to Engineering Manager
- Coordinate maintenance efforts with contractors and technicians as directed
- Inspect buildings and grounds for malfunctioning equipment building issues and unsafe conditions
- Report all known safety hazards, equipment issues and customer concerns
- Maintain all work areas in a clean and safe manner
- Complete other facility maintenance duties as required/assigned.
- Respond quickly to emergency situations
- Comply with Company policies, procedures and directives
- Maintain a safe work environment at all times and report any safety concerns/issues to Engineering Manager
- Lead and direct team on special projects and tasks with excellent communication, collaboration, and time-management
- Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication, leadership, and coordination with other departments and coworkers
- Schedule and coordinate shutdowns to include preventative maintenance, major projects, and facility modifications
- Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3-5 years experience in HVAC Technician, Refrigeration Technician, mechanical, electrical, carpentry, plumbing, or other construction trades
- Certificate/appropriate experience in HVAC, building maintenance technology or related field
- 1+ certificates in building maintenance technology or related field is required
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Ability to follow directions and training, but work independently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid knowledge of engineering principles
- May be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Solid knowledge of hand/power tools
- Customer service skills, decision making/problem solving skills, and communication skills
- Time and project management skills
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to move and lift large, bulky and/or heavy objects up to 50 pounds
- Ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, sitting, repetitive bending, and other physical activities

Pay: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour
