The successful applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman Mission Systems Sector, Navigation, Targeting & Survivability Division, Navigation and Positioning Systems Business Unit contracts& pricing organization and will have overall contracts management responsibilities for the IMU and Space & Strategic Operating Units . The successful candidate will be a direct report to the NAPS Contracts & Pricing Manager and will work closely on a day-to-day basis with the program directors, managers, business managers, operations manager, and other functional teams supporting this business area.
The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the portfolio from the proposal development phase through contract closeout, delivering strong customer satisfaction, successful financial performance and risk mitigation.
Candidate's ability to build strong customer intimacy and employee engagement is a key priority to assist with this important business area. The Contract Manager will review and approve contractual documents for protection of the company's contractual/risk posture, satisfaction of contractual requirements and adherence to company policies and therefore a keen attention to detail is essential. Candidate will also be responsible for planning and executing successful contract negotiations of a complex nature and achieving targeted profit rates as well as favorable terms and conditions to assist in meeting profit and cash goals. Regular and proactive interface and effective collaboration is required with program, technical and operations organizations in order to provide guidance and direction based upon the requirements of the contracts, change management discipline and to ensure timeliness of CDRL submissions.
