Wachusett Healthcare is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable/Payroll Coordinator to join their team in their corporate offices located in Quincy, MA.
Wachusett Healthcare is a locally owned nursing home operator with facilities in Massachusetts and Connecticut specializing in short-term rehabilitation and long-term care.
This position is part of our Accounting and Payroll Department and is located at our corporate office in Quincy, MA. The ideal candidate would be an individual that enjoys a fast-paced environment, the ability to multi-task, trouble-shoot, navigate change well and maintain a positive attitude.
Responsible for monitoring accounts payable for multiple sites while insuring all policies and procedures are being followed
Active role in the monthly accounts payable close process along with accrual posting
Process vendor payments
Research, troubleshoot and resolve accounts payable issues
Support Payroll processing
Accounts Payable experience
Payroll experience a plus
Ability to communicate effectively
Organized, accurate and detail oriented
Strong PC skills which includes Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel as well as experience with accounting software packages.
