Field Human Resources Manager

Position Summary: The HR Business Partner's primary responsibility is to provide strategic human resources solutions to assigned regions within the company by developing a deep understanding of the field leadership’s business/service needs. This individual will provide effective solutions for employee relations, performance management, talent management, recruiting and compensation planning in support of our restaurant locations.

Essential Functions:

  • Provides strategic and tactical HR support and consulting to designated markets and regions
  • Provides HR leadership and consultation to employees and leaders at all levels of the organization
  • Builds and maintains a valued advisor relationship with leaders
  • Develops and achieves HR objectives which support Company and regional business strategies
  • Stays abreast of changing business needs and anticipates human resource issues and opportunities
  • Collaborates with leaders and employees to research and resolve various employment-related issues in a manner which is consistent with Company policies and practices
  • Independently assesses and develops an effective plan for resolving employee issues with minimal escalation including providing effective coaching and counseling as needed
  • Partners with the talent acquisition team on staffing and when necessary, participates in the recruitment and assessment process
  • Proactively surface or initiate review of potential compensation issues by partnering with the compensation team
  • Assists with the research, development and implementation of company-wide HR initiatives



  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in human resources or related field
  • MBA is a plus
  • SPHR or SHRM-SCP certification preferred


  • 5 years in human resources generalist role
  • Experience with multi-state locations and non-exempt distributed workforce
  • Restaurant or hospitality industry experience is a plus


  • Proven track record of serving as HR advisor to internal clients in areas of organizational change, workforce planning, talent management and employment compliance
  • Ability to work quickly and effectively with constantly changing priorities
  • Ability to demonstrate sound judgment, critical thinking and analysis
  • Experience building relationships, gaining credibility, partnering and influencing at all levels to achieve results
  • Exceptional communication, coaching and conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent presentation and training facilitation skills
  • Solid PC skills and proficiency with Word, Excel and PowerPoint required
  • Internal customer-focused mentality
  • Ability to strictly maintain confidentiality and/or sensitive business information

Working Conditions:

  • Position requires talking, hearing, walking, sedentary work, and visual acuity
  • Work is performed in home office setting as well as a restaurant environment
  • Overnight travel of up to 50% is required
  • Requires availability in evenings and on weekends to take calls as needed

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $80,000.00 to $90,000.00 /year
