CoreCivic is currently recruiting for a full time Facility Recruiter to join our talent acquisition team at our brand new FSC (HQ) location in the Brentwood, TN. This role requires a blend of Talent Acquisition and Recruitment Marketing skillsets and collaborates with the Regional HR Directors, Facility Operations Teams, and HR Managers throughout assigned facilities and plays a highly visible role in filling high volume, hard-to-fill, and critical facility vacancies of various types. You will be joining a team of TA, HR, OD, and HRIS professionals to bring elevated levels of service to the CoreCivic organization.
In partnership with TA and Facility leadership, the Facility Recruiter researches and recommends targeted solutions and has direct involvement in implementing and monitoring cost effective recruitment programs for each facility. Day to Day responsibilities include: sourcing candidates through a variety of methods, including attending specialty conferences, professional networking, and cold calling to promote CoreCivic as the employer of choice. The Facility Recruiter drives the recruitment escalation process with HR partners and facility leadership, represents CoreCivic with local community outreach, military outreach and campus partnerships. Engages with third party recruiting and recruitment marketing vendors for assigned facilities and positions to expand brand messaging, employer reach, and candidate pipelines.
You will work closely with facility leadership to monitor and troubleshoot recruitment-related issues. Proactively develops and executes recruitment strategies to meet the hiring goals of individual facilities. Reviews and analyzes hiring processes and ensures consistency in the application of those processes to satisfy OFCCP requirements. Develops, implements, analyzes and provides feedback of program and process implementations and proactively identifies staffing needs in order to source for and maintain a robust pool of qualified applicants for all critical staffing pattern positions.
Monitors monthly vacancy rates and implements recruitment strategies to increase candidate pipeline and reduce time to fill rates. Utilizes recruiting experience and sourcing tools to identify and add additional candidates into the selection process.
Develops, in partnership with Talent Acquisition leadership and local HR, tailored recruitment and recruitment marketing plans programs for staffing critical positions. Supports facilities at the local level and assists with the selection and hire process as necessary.
Monitors facility applicant flow and ensures hiring assessments are effective in screening candidates into the selection flow. Proactively notifies Talent Acquisition and Facility leadership of changes in the candidate market and provides recommendations for incentives and solutions to alleviate the impact of these changes.
Drives the recruitment escalation process with HR partners and Operations leadership to address recruiting challenges. Researches and develops innovative solutions and recommendations.
Leads the effort and collaborates with Talent Acquisition leadership and facility Human Resources to develop and maintain critical community contacts with colleges, universities and military candidate pools.
Utilizes creative sourcing to identify qualified candidates for hard to fill positions and maintains all documentation to track candidates and monitor sourcing strategies.
Develops relationships with diversity, military, educational, vocational and security organizations in order to capture opportunities to develop CoreCivic as an employer of choice for facility careers and increase recruitment outreach.
Provides hands on leadership for local facility recruitment hiring events management with assistance from facility staff and/or other Talent Acquisition and HR partners.
Ensures compliance with state and federal laws governing selection and hiring for all positions.
Domestic U.S. travel may be required.

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
Three years of overall recruiting experience.
Additional experience in recruiting may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
Must have experience with various recruiting methods, including internet sourcing, direct sourcing, networking/referrals, and other cost effective sourcing solutions.
Experience with an Applicant Tracking System.
Must be extremely organized, attentive to detail, and able to multi-task while maintaining a professional demeanor.
Must demonstrate cross-functional communication skills and be able to collaborate with and influence others.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Significant travel (up to 50%) to visit facilities for facility recruiting efforts
Valid driver's license is required.
Experience recruiting for diversified high volume positions at facilities distributed across large geographic areas.
Experience in the staffing industry is highly preferred
Experience sourcing through Indeed, attending career fairs, and planning hiring events
Experience with campus, diversity, and military recruiting programs
Experience developing, tracking, and analyzing recruitment marketing and advertising campaigns
Experience with Grassroots/Rural Marketing
Experience with a major, corporate level ATS is a big plus
Experience with a robust CRM platform
Intermediate/Advanced MS Excel and reporting experience
Familiarity with OFCCP requirements
