Digital Management, Inc. (DMI) is seeking a full time Technical Project Manager to provide support for our Navy customer located in Patuxent River, MD.

Duties and Responsibilties:
Provides technical direction for systems from definition phase through implementation. Monitors and summarizes progress of project.
Provides necessary feedback to project stakeholders and communicate technical aspects of system’s requirements.
Applies knowledge of industry trends and developments to improve service to our clients.
Assist in development of project plans, determining resources needed to meet requirements.
Ensure proper development and change control process are followed, as well as overseeing requirements, product specifications, code, and other technical project documentation.
Proactively identify and resolve/mitigate risks and issues.
Ensure deliverables provides on-time with high quality.
Partner with outside project teams to identify and resolve any potential dependencies, and coordinate execution of any testing scenarios.
Provide build implementation expertise.
Prepares and oversees preparation of status and after action reports.
Reviews work of Sustainment team.
Identifies opportunities for enhancements and refinements to standards and processes
Works directly with Architects, System Analysts and QA team to manage the technical aspects of a development project
Makes sure that project documents are complete, current and stored appropriately
Keeps project manager well informed of status of efforts, and serves as liaison between staff and project manager.

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree preferred in Computer Science or Information Technology
7 – 10 years overall IT experience

Technical certifications to include:
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and databases

Additional Requirement(s):
Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
