Support administratively the coordination and planning of International Student and Scholar life events to include making reservations, arranging catering, managing communications, and coordinating logistics.
Attend and assist with all International Student Life events, programs, and trips.
Serve as the primary advisor to international student groups such as International Student Counsel, Global Guides, and Global Techsans program.
Coordinate host family events and temporary stay program.
Assist with purchasing of event supplies, promotional materials, and marketing.
Manage social media platforms and coordinate with OIA IT to keep website pages up to date with upcoming events, press releases, news articles, and event photos.
Manage the ISL general email account.
Primary contact for quantitative measurement metrics and assist with program reports.
Assist with administrative aspects of sponsored fellowship programs such as the Mandela Washington Fellowship program.
Assist with the assembly, compilation, and delivery of all pre-arrival and post-arrival documentation for sponsored fellowship programs such as the Mandela Fellowship program.
Coordinate and assist with transportation needs throughout sponsored fellowship programs such as the Mandela Fellowship program.
Serve as primary contact for logistical, health, and safety questions for sponsored fellowship programs such as the Mandela Fellowship program.
Assist with all fellowship purchases and relevant documentation before and throughout sponsored fellowship programs such as the Mandela Fellowship program.
High school graduation plus five (5) years progressively responsible related experience; additional related education may exchange for the required experience on a year for year basis.
Ability to initiate, organize, and prioritize multiple/competing projects and tasks with a high degree of efficiency and productivity. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience working with international students, student life programming, or planning events in a higher education setting. Familiarity with international student issues, knowledge of cross-cultural communications and working with international populations.

Compensation is commensurate upon the qualifications of the individual selected and budgetary guidelines of the hiring department, as well as, the institutional pay plan. For additional information, please reference the institutional pay plan on the Human Resources webpage.
