ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES include the following.
Pre-screens employment applications, obtains necessary background checks and clearances.
Prepares and completes attendant hiring packages.
Enters new hires and consumer information into internal databases, such as In-Site, efile and HRMS, and any other databases deemed necessary.
Accepts the assignment of financial portions of the plan for timely and effective implementation. Specific activities may include file audits, attendant coordination, training, marketing, or surveys.
Assists in the review of standards, implementation of existing service policies and procedures, and identifies possible service providers, and attendant’ problems.
Refers consumers to community resources and other organizations, when appropriate.
Compiles statistical data, completes forms, and writes narrative reports as required.
Recruit and review resumes to match applicants with job requirements to meet hiring needs.
Represents DON Services within the community particularly as regarding outreach to consumers in a manner that reflects the spirit and intent of the independent living philosophy.

- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Human Resources Occupations: 1 year (Preferred)
