The Procurement Agent will work directly with the client and its suppliers to procure parts for clients manufacturing process and will be responsible for the Requisition to PO (Purchase Order) placement and track deliveries of parts to client’s warehouse. Procurement Agent will communicate with the internal management to assists in the development, clarification, and definition of end-user requirements and assists clients to define the processes applicable to the category of services being procured. This role will also be responsible for processing daily transactions and administrative functions to complete client/internal management deliverables within our service level agreements.
Execute activities related to supply chain functions and ensure that daily targets are met, and quality is maintained as per SLA/KPI/Operations metrics.
Monitor assigned parts (active/inactive/overdue).
Review and release assigned part order requisitions, utilizing Client SAP System.
Address the review and release of part order requisitions of a complex nature and provide guidance and direction to team members.
Take corrective actions and post order status in Client internal system.
Review part requirements / commits and monitor part delivery schedule.
Monitor inventory levels.
Monitor and report the storage of parts (placed into inventory system).
Update Supply Chain Manager Reports (Back Order Report, Critical Part Reports, etc).
Maintain communication with Client and Suppliers
Minimum of 2 years of experience working with MS Office, Access and Excel.
Preferred not required: 6 months’ Purchasing experience
Preferred not required:6 months’ Supply Chain SAP experience.
Proven ability to work independently and as a team member Strong communication written and oral and interpersonal skills Good organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills
Flexibility to work any shifts between the hours of 7a-4p M-F
