This Sr. Talent Acquisition Partner Defined Term role is vital to supporting recruitment and talent acquisition initiatives. The Sr. Talent Acquisition Partner will work with the Hiring Managers, Human Resources Business Partners and Leadership and lead the recruiting activities to hire top talent for full-time and contract positions. The Senior Talent Acquisition Partner will develop and sustain effective methods to identify, source, and mobilize the most qualified candidates, and ensure the company always has a pipeline of talent for critical positions. This position is also responsible for supporting the EEO commitments made in AAP plans and execute pro-active recruiting to achieve AAP goals and objectives. In addition, as a Senior Talent Acquisition Partner, facilitates appropriate behavioral interview & OPQ sessions. Support New Jersey and remote locations including Canada, New Hampshire, Rochester New York, Colorado, and California.
Job Functions : (Primary “essential” duties and responsibilities)
Manage the entire recruitment process by developing appropriate job postings and campaigns, address job profile and candidate pool disparities and ensure alignment, ensure best in class recruitment strategies, and execute sourcing to identify qualified candidates for interviews in a timely manner, at the most efficient cost.
Analyze market signals/trends, candidate behavior and advances in technology related to recruitment for medical device industry positions for all Americas including Canada.
Partner with hiring managers to fill open positions and implement best practice hiring methods which screen and interview candidates by evaluating the candidates job experience, education, skills, training, organizational fit, and future potential.
Continuously develop business knowledge and acumen of company and departmental objectives, industry and corporate challenges and current market dynamics.
Set overarching recruiting strategy which includes college campus affairs, partnering on conference & event attendance in partnership with hiring teams; coordinate and conduct candidate assessment/debrief sessions with hiring managers.
Effectively coach hiring managers on interview and selection process.
Facilitate interview and SuccessFactors/ATS training sessions with hiring managers.
Contribute to successful development and usage of Talent Acquisition technology platforms.
Work on recruitment projects to improve the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the talent acquisition function.
Deliver best in class recruiting experience to Hiring Managers and candidates throughout the recruiting life cycle in line with corporate objectives.
Develop and implement organizational marketing strategies and proactive sourcing methods to find top talent by leveraging multiple recruiting channels including sourcing on the internet, cold calling, social media, local colleges, and internal employee referrals to source candidates that meet the target profile.
Manage assigned jobs in our applicant tracking system ensuring all applicants are moved correctly and in a timely manner to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations and the easy retrieval of prospective candidate information for recruiting purposes.
Support the organization in the execution of EEO commitments made in their AAP plan and execute pro-active recruiting to achieve AAP goals and objectives.
Build a bench of qualified candidates for future needs and develop a strong understanding of our competitors and the top talent who work for them.
Report status on requisitions and metrics and ensure timely feedback and follow-up is provided to candidates and Hiring Managers.
Work with Shared Services to ensure candidates are scheduled for interviews, and any/all travel and candidate reimbursements is completed on a timely and efficient manner.
Follow all work/quality procedures to ensure quality system compliance and high quality work.
Work with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to define and negotiate offers of employment and determine candidate start dates.
Participate in talent acquisition projects and/or other related duties as appropriate.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Expert level of knowledge in talent acquisition and recruitment digital/ats platforms.
Excellent coaching, negotiation, customer service, and influencing management skills.
Strong computer skills with experience using an applicant tracking system, electronic job boards, social media, and MS Office.
Comfortable learning new technologies and tools.
Strong team player with experience building and sustaining relationships.
Excellent communication, attention to detail, and time management skills.
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Ability to leverage technology and the internet to efficiently source qualified talent, facilitate staffing processes, and ensure effective record keeping.
A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business management, or other related field and/or combination of education and related experience is required.
Five plus years corporate and talent acquisition experience for all levels of professional, technical, and remote positions is required. This experience must include direct and indirect sourcing, screening and interviewing, management coaching for candidate selection, and development and presentation of employment offers.
Five plus years of full cycle talent acquisition and recruitment experience for a medical device, healthcare, pharmaceutical industries, or regulated manufacturer is preferred.
Demonstrated experience in the ability to manage, influence and challenge all levels of management.
Must ensure compliance with employment laws, EEO and AAP policies and procedures. Solid understanding of EEO and AAP regulations and experience of ensuring compliance to these.
Knowledge of and experience using recruitment and digital tools such as an applicant tracking system (Success Factors) electronic job boards (Indeed, MedReps) social media (LinkedIn) and the ability to proactively source and mobilize relevant candidates .
Experience supporting teams in remote locations and leading interview and training sessions
Travel: ability and willingness to travel locally and nationally to support recruitment activities in all Americas including Canada and recruitment programs (approximately 30%)
