## Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Pet Groomer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals and expertise in grooming techniques to ensure the well-being and appearance of pets.
## Responsibilities
- Perform grooming services such as bathing, brushing, clipping, and basic haircut styling pets
- Handle and restrain animals safely and compassionately during grooming procedures
- Provide pet care services including nail trimming, ear cleaning, sanitary cut and anal gland expression
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grooming area
- Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand their grooming preferences
- Monitor pets for health issues or abnormalities and report findings to the supervisor
## Experience
- Previous experience in pet grooming
- Knowledge of different breeds and their specific grooming requirements
- Bilingual is a plus
- Certification or training in pet grooming is a plus but not required
Requirements: Experience in grooming various breeds. Bilingual is a plus Time management skills Strong animal handling skills and grooming knowledge any breed. Grooming-related certifications are a plus. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 75 lbs. Must be available to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed. Provide professional references from previous employers or clients is a plus. Pay Rate: depending on requirements and experience.
