Heartland Financial USA, Inc. (Heartland) is seeking a Business Analyst II to join our growing team in Dubuque, IA. The Business Analyst II identifies and solves problems affecting the business solution, and works closely with the project manager to analyze the existing business systems and make recommendations for improvement. The Business Analyst II will analyze and model the business domain to create a complete picture of work-flows, task assignments and technical requirements fulfilled by existing and proposed software; including analyzing documents and processes to establish problem areas.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business or related field; or equivalent years of experience.
  • 3 or more years of Business Analysis experience.
  • 5-7 years of experience in Information Services or related field.
  • Knowledge of requirement gathering and analysis methodologies and Process Mapping techniques, knowledge of software applications and architectures.
