The Supervisor, Vault and Distribution is responsible for the supervision and coordination of daily receiving, shipping, warehousing, vault operations, and the delivery of product consistent with operational objectives.
Supervision and coordination of daily warehouse and vault operations, including but not limited to work prioritization, employee scheduling, warehouse and vault support
Coordination and scheduling of cycle counting and audit activities as they relate to warehouse, vault and distribution activities.
Troubleshoot all receiving and shipping issues, find route cause and resolve the issue.
Interface with QC, QA and Finance for product, process and inventory issues.
Responsible for ensuring all operations are carried out in compliance with all applicable cGMPs and in a manner to ensure employee safety and product security.
Write, revise, develop, evaluate and review Standard Operating Procedures for all warehouse, vault and distribution processes.
Maintains high level of accuracy in day-to-day activities and transactions.
Provides training and guidance to Distribution Technicians, including but not limited to performance evaluations, professional development, compliance and regulatory guidelines.
Coordination of waste destructions for controlled and non-controlled materials.
Serve as functional expert for SAP systems training and support.
Performs other related assignments and duties as required and assigned.
Education and Experience
Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a related area combined with working knowledge of transportation and logistics regulations and practices; three years’ experience supervising or leading a team. A working knowledge of computerized distribution systems, SAP experience preferred, relative to inventory and warehouse management. This position is a working supervisor role; requires effective written and oral communication skills and strong problem solving skills. Bachelor’s degree highly preferred.
