We are currently seeking a Senior Account Manager for our Robot product offering to join our dynamic team in Lincolnshire, IL as part of the Hospitality Display Team!
Combining its core competencies in robotics, artificial intelligence and autonomous vehicles with a deep understanding of customer needs, LG Electronics announced that it is developing an autonomous robot that will use ultraviolet (UV-C) light to disinfect high-touch, high-traffic areas. LG Business Solutions USA plans to offer the UV robot to U.S. hospitality, education, corporate, retail, restaurant, and transportation customers in early 2021.
The Senior Account Manager is responsible for developing Key accounts and relationships in the Hospitality vertical to drive sales of the LG Robotic product line .This will include the overall Strategy in Robots and Robotic product line across the multiple channel and customer landscapes. In collaboration with Marketing you will clearly communicates the value of LG Electronics B2B products and solutions to these audiences.
The Sr. Account Manager Robots/Robotics will plan, organize, and manage an assigned product line from conceptual stages through product life cycles to optimize profit and meet marketing, financial, and corporate growth objectives by performing the following duties.
Responsible for LG Hospitality Display group’s largest revenue generating accounts
Manage relations with Large National Hotel Chains.
Responsible for negotiating and maintaining lucrative National contracts that results in increased market share and sales growth for LG
Find new business Opportunities and National Accounts that LG does not currently serve
Responsible for creating and implementing value add strategies within these National Accounts
Collaborate with and get entrenched with multiple contact points within accounts from managerial to C-Suite levels
Work with LG Service to optimize after sales support in line with customer expectations.
Support marketing with lead generation tactics at trade events
Utilize Salesforce to effectively reach on-going prospects
Maintain orders, sales and inventory with a focus on keeping inventory and product lead times at a minimum.
Assist LG regional managers and dealers with successful go-to-market strategies, promotions and sales tactics
Collaborate with LG engineering team to present innovative platform solutions and content delivery with end-goal of LG becoming hotel brand standard
Assists in overall product-positioning and product-marketing strategy, research and development requirements, development, and manufacturing coordination for specific device/platform
Assist to develop mid-long term Product Road Map.
Monitors the industry media and analysis to ensure understanding of industry dynamics & trends in North America.
Acts as thought leader in shaping and positioning go-to-market strategies – inclusive of media, promotions, sales enablement, product marketing collateral
Collaborating with cross-functional teams – from creative, content and web and production to marketing and legal – driving and creating effective communications strategies
Bachelor Degree is required
A minimum of 10+ years of experience in key account management / business development is required
2 years of experience in sales of robotic equipment
Previous experience working within a capitol equipment sales in the Hospitality industry
Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook) required
Very detail oriented with a very strong analytical skills
Solid negotiation, leadership, and professional presentation skills
Open to learn new systems and a desire to improve processes
Ability to travel when required
Korean language skills a plus
