Purpose of Role:

The Key Account Manager, Drug is responsible for continuing to develop our existing business at the CVS and Rite Aid accounts. The KAM will be a key contributor in helping set strategies and objectives to achieve annual sales and distribution plans for our clients within the Drug Channel. The positions office will be based in Lincoln, RI or North Andover, MA with 25% required travel.

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop strong relationships with customer contacts at designated accounts
  • Manage sales and promotional strategies aligned with our client and company directives
  • Develop and plan growth strategies for achieving all corporate sales objectives
  • Prepare sales forecasts and strategic planning
  • Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and objectives
  • Understanding of sales trends and category/consumer insights
  • Responsible for effective account leadership and managing the day-to-day activities through timely communication, effective daily sales/reporting activities, including promotional activities, correcting out of stocks and tracking competitive activities
  • Being part of a team and effectively communicate within different levels of an organization
  • 25% Travel required; trade shows

Core Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Work Experience
  • Sales experience in a CPG environment
  • 3 – 5 years’ sales experience with specific customer accounts
  • Well organized with ability to work both independently and within team environment
  • Existing knowledge/relationships with trade in assigned channel is recommended
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong business and negotiation skills
  • Must be adaptive to change within organization and industry
  • Results oriented, innovative, strong problem solving skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work at a fast pace
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Display integrity, character and strong leadership skills

Salary Commensurate with Experience
