We are searching for an experienced IT Business Relationship Manager or "Program Manager" to provide a key contact point between the domain business stakeholders and IT for service provision, new demand and enhancements. Our Business Relationship Managers are seen as trusted advisers to the business, providing support in delivering technology products that meet the needs of the business.

This is an exciting role, supporting various business domains, overseeing all areas of program delivery ensuring a smooth delivery of each assigned project from initial conception to post go-live review, successfully monitoring all work-streams.

Proactively sharing knowledge of technology risks and opportunities to build competitive advantage and improve efficiency and effectiveness of the domain as well as understanding and supporting stakeholder’s needs is key in this role.

Detailed and organized, you will have exceptional attention to detail and previous experience of delivering projects through both waterfall and agile methodologies. You will use your initiative and expertise to ensure a smooth delivery of projects whilst working to tight deadlines.

You’ll be a confident multitasker and have the ability to manage numerous projects, whilst working to tight deadlines along with experience managing 3rd party suppliers. You’ll have exceptional stakeholder management expertise and have a flexible and pragmatic approach to delivery.

The Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of experience with at least 3 years in Project Management, Business Relationship Management or Business Analysis. Experience in an established consulting firm as a consultant is a plus.
Deep understanding of project/portfolio management framework
Program or project management of 2 or more full life-cycle Oracle and/or SAP implementations
Strong understanding of Quote to Cash
5+ years of experience preparing and presenting proposals to clients
5+ years of experience managing PM’s and teams
5+ years of experience with leading and managing projects across multiple technologies and functions
5+ years of experience managing geographically distributed and culturally diverse work-groups with strong team management, leadership and coaching skills.
Strategic thinker, results oriented, and self-motivated. Ability to map joint organizational vision and long-term thinking, imagination, and idea generation
Process and detail oriented with ability to grasp the big picture. The ideal candidate would be a creative and innovative person with a demonstrated track record of collaboration.
Must be a polished presenter and have a good executive presence.
Proven leadership qualities as well as high performance track record
Hands-on experience with project management tools such as Smartsheet, JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, etc.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively to multiple levels of management both in writing and orally
Ability to analyze data, evaluate detail and draw appropriate conclusions
Time management and prioritization skills
Ability to manage through a rapidly changing business landscape
Ability to focus on key issues and drive initiatives to conclusion
Ability to build relationships & foster partnerships across multiple disciplines
Able to act on own initiative, be proactive, reliable and confident
System knowledge and systems enhancement expertise
Knowledge of outsourcing methodologies and operating models, and working with professional services firms
Exposure to projects utilizing Agile (SCRUM), certified SCRUM Master a plus
Comfortable working with and challenging business partners and senior executives BA/BS Computer Science, Management Information System or Business
Strong humility, listening, creativity, and negotiation skills
Certification in Program Management such as a PMP is preferred.
Certification or membership in Business Relationship Management or Business Analysis network, organization, or other is preferred

The Role

Participate in the leadership team of the PMO, setting strategy, standards, processes, etc.
Oversight of project management of initiatives in the Customer Systems spaces (i.e. external Portals), providing communication back to business areas on their projects’ status; project management for reasonable initiatives in the absence of project manager.
Ensure completion of assigned projects as aggressively as possible while acting as an ambassador for Project Management Office portfolio management standards
Collaborate on development of strategic plans, roadmaps, business cases and prioritization of Customer facing system initiatives and tasks.
Liaison between IT and business units for operational and other related technology issues.
Lead portfolio planning and develop annual portfolio plan and estimates for each initiative (effort and dollars); support the cross prioritization of initiatives across functional areas.

Project Management throughout the full systems development life cycle using both waterfall and Agile methodologies
Develops Program and project budgets, tracks actuals against forecast and remains within departmental guidelines for variance.
Partner with enterprise architecture to develop and maintain multi-year business capability roadmaps.
Partner with business transformation teams (change management) to ensure effective business transformation for all initiatives.
Develop a deep knowledge of the business partner’s business unit and build positive relationship development, both horizontally and vertically.
Drive issue escalation and resolution; risk identification and mitigation and the overall removal of roadblocks that impede progress of the project
Status Reporting
Liaise with management in key stakeholder groups (i.e. Business, Operations, Technology, Risk, Legal, etc.)
Development and implementation of work plans
Coordination across various cross impacted teams
