Driver/Forklift Operator/Warehouse Associate
Metro Waterproofing is looking for a responsible individual to drive materials to job sites (mostly local) and work in our warehouse.
Job Responsibilities:
- Keeping an inventory of all material entering or exiting the warehouse
- Identifying any missing, lost or damaged materials and immediately notify the supervisor
- Moving material safely and securely via forklift
- Delivering and picking up materials on job sites - mostly local
- Maintaining safe work environment - cleaning and organizing
- Other duties/responsibilities assigned by Warehouse Manager
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Driver’s License (CDL preferred)
- Able to pass DOT physical
- Forklift experience required
- 1 year prior warehouse experience required
- Ability to work independently and safely
- Truck (F-650, F-350) driving experience preferred
- Should be practical, responsible, alert and adaptable.
- Stand or walk for long periods of time.
- Stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl.
- Use fingers, hand and arms to reach for, handle and manipulated objects.
- Lift and carry materials of all shapes and sizes, weighing up to 50 pounds 75% of the time.
- Climb up and down ladders, scaffolds and other objects.
- Work on uneven surfaces
- See and hear well (either naturally or with correction).
Work Hours/Attendance
Hours are 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday. However, hours may change, and you may be asked to work overtime on short notice. Promptness/punctuality is required every day.
