ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Working within the Preclinical department team at Juul Labs, the Research Associate will assist with collection, organization and analysis of analytical chemistry, health, and toxicological data from testing facilities. Generate, edit and proof-read reports based on the datasets and present the information to the team.

The position will be required to provide support for the day to day activities of the Preclinical team. The successful candidate will interact with Regulatory, Preclinical and Quality team members, under the supervision and mentorship of project leaders. This position requires understanding of basic scientific principles and basic statistical analysis. The specific tasks entail sequential learning of the data analysis and report writing process. The candidate will be trained in the use of online databases, Excel spreadsheets and statistical software packages and document management systems and will be expected to compile reports independently, once training is complete.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide data analysis and report writing to support products, materials and ingredients testing for JUUL Labs.
  • Support and assist in data and information collection.

PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: BS/BA in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology or Engineering

  • Excellent team work skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, written/oral communication skills
  • Experience in academic or industry settings preferred but not required
